At Agroganadera Latuf, we produce the best beef by caring for the animals and their environment throughout the production process, attending to all aspects necessary for their development. We offer a 100% traceable process. In some cases, this includes rearing calves with their mothers, so we can ensure proper health and nutrition from the start.
We ensure that the animals benefit from the best of outdoor rearing, pasture feeding and feedlot finishing, where their diet consists almost entirely of crops we produce to strictly controlled quality standards.
The process begins with an analysis upon arrival at the holding pens, where the animals are cleaned and assessed for health. Those found to be sick are separated and moved to open fields where they graze and begin a diet that includes corn.
Although there is no set time for field grazing, animals are moved to the feedlot when their muscle and weight development is optimal to ensure a superior final product. We do not use methods that could disrupt normal development, nor do we use electric prods during transport to avoid stressing the animals.
We are convinced that achieving the best quality product requires careful attention not only to the animals’ surroundings but also to their diet and health.
